Franck Bonville Prestige Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru is a spectacular wine!🍾

It’s fine, delicate, racy and evervescent.🥂

At one level it’s great Chardonnay – saline, chalky with grapefruit flavours not dissimilar to Chablis.👌

But there’s also delicious honey and yeast flavours from 6.5 years bottle age as this is an equal blend of the 2014 and 2015 vintages.💥

The persistent bead adds to the excitement of a Champagne that beautifully balances freshness with a creamy softness.

Olivier Bonville is a 4th generation grape grower and 3rd generation grower-producer in Champagne. 🇫🇷

He owns grand cru vineyards on the Cotes des Blanc, a famous slope south of Epernay where Chardonnay excels.

This wine is miles ahead of the non vintage offerings from the large Champagne houses which are themselves far superior to most sparkling wine. You get the picture ….. An absolute treat!
