@houghtonwines Jack Mann Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 is a typically powerful and full bodied rendition of one of Australia’s greatest Cabernets. 🍷

The wine is named after Jack Mann , #houghtonwineswinemaker for 51 vintages from the 1920’s through to the early ‘70’s. 

It’s rated ‘Outstanding’ 👌 in the @langtonsfinewine catalogue which measures demand and resale value in the secondary auction market.

There is freshness and brightness on the finish to 2019 so it’s drinking nicely now but the density of the wine and the high quality tannins suggest 20 years in the cellar will be a doddle. 🍇You aren’t really doing this wine justice drinking it this early given what it will develop into.

But dark horse 🐎 Frankland River / Great Southern in West Australia also produces world class Cabernet like this powerhouse.
