As an old Margaret River winemaker, Erl Happ, once told me “Wine is just a beverage. We shouldn’t take it too seriously!”

And he is right but there’s passion, place, culture and history in a good bottle of wine. Understanding the wine dials up the pleasure.

Despite all the blather winemakers aren’t Mahatma Gandhi or Nelson Mandela! However they do make the world a better place!
